Singing bowls are sacred tools that have been used in Nepali Buddhism and Tibetan Esoteric Buddhism since before the 5th century. It has been used by high priests to sharpen the soul in silence and to satisfy the hearts of those who believe in Buddhism. Today, it is used by people all over the world for its healing effects that heal people's minds and for meditation and other situations where you want to improve your concentration. In Japan, it is also called "singing ball" or "singing bowl", and is sometimes called "Tibetan purification bowl".
Singing Bowl Meditation is a meditation therapy that uses singing bowls for deeper meditation. Place the singing bowl on the client's abdomen or back to apply vibrations directly to the body, or place the singing bowl around the client's lying position to continuously resonate overtones. Clients can enter a deep state of relaxation (meditation) as their body chakras are activated.
Many people have wondered, "Is there any meaning in meditating?" However, as neuroscience has developed, it has become clear one after another that meditation has an effect on the brain and body. "Meditation" is famous for being adopted by leading businessmen such as Steve Jobs and Bill Gates and artists such as Madonna, but the effects of "meditation" are infinite. Even if you know the effects of "meditation", it is difficult to practice "meditation" by yourself. Therefore, in this singing bowl meditation, you can use the singing bowl to force yourself into a “meditation” state. When most people experience "meditation", they think of "calming down" or "clearing the head", but it is said that it actually has more amazing effects.
This may sound a bit philosophical, but meditation is essentially purposeless. And precisely because we meditate without a purpose, we can suddenly see answers that we have not seen before. For example, even if you meditate while thinking "What should I do to succeed in business?", it is not meditation but "thinking". Nothing changes from what you normally do at your desk or in a meeting. Before you meditate, even if you had various purposes, let them all go. On Top of that, by emptying your mind and doing meditation, you can see what you really need.
And you can be positive about anything. First of all, people are basically backwards (negative). This is instinctive, so it can't be helped, but humans strive to maintain the status quo. This is because maintaining the status quo is the safest way to survive. There are many dangers, especially when trying new things. As a result, most people think “let’s stop” and stop trying. But for those who meditate, things are a little different. Just try without having the determination to try something new. They just silently do what they need to do. People around me see me as "positive in everything I do!", but I don't think of myself as being positive.
In addition, you will have better sleep quality. Even if a person falls asleep in a tense state, it is a very light sleep and cannot relieve the fatigue of the body. On the other hand, people who are in a relaxed state by meditating can have a deep and good quality sleep even if it is a short sleep time, so they can wake up comfortably.
It also helps you remember things better. Meditation has been shown to increase the learning and memory areas of the brain. Simply put, there's a big difference in how much you can remember when you're at gunpoint and when you're relaxed. In a state of tension, humans cannot remember anything other than the object that is giving them tension (the pistol). Therefore, when you are in a relaxed state during meditation, there is nothing to interfere with what you remember, so it seems that you can memorize it smoothly.
70 percent of our body is water. This water resonates with the sound and vibration of the bowl, and the Qi that is stagnant at the cellular level is released. When a lot of energy (Chi) is flowing through our bodies, it becomes easy to get tired both physically and mentally, and we tend to lose our balance. The sound of the singing ball purifies people, things, and places, and heals and activates the chakra. It has a relaxing effect, stabilizes breathing and relieves stress. The mysterious reverberations that occur when a singing ball is struck are called overtones, and are a major feature of the singing ball. It was only in the past 20 to 30 years that the "overtones" began to attract attention. It has been incorporated into various forms of therapy and healing, mainly in Europe and the United States, and its results have been reported. It is now being applied to yoga and meditation all over the world. It is said that the tone of the singing ball expresses one's state of mind. When the mind is in a stable state, it will produce a beautiful tone, and on the contrary, when it is unstable, it will appear as a disturbed tone. The sound of the singing bowl, which corresponds to each chakra, releases this stagnant energy, and the sound of the bowl resonates with the moisture in the body, creating the same state as deep meditation. Singing bowl meditation will release your stressed and exhausted body. The more weak you are mentally, the more effective it will be. Meditation therapy is recommended for situations that require mental care, such as "I can't think clearly," "I can't seem to get motivated," or "I'm tired." |
