トークセン（トクセン）は、タイの古式療法のひとつ。「トークセン」とは、エネルギーラインを叩くという意味の施術法です。トークとはタイ語で「叩く」という意味で、センはタイ伝統医学における経絡に相当します。この施術は、何世代にも渡って師匠から弟子へ、父から子へと口伝によって伝承され、長い歴史の中で、人々の経験により守られてきたものです。

トークセンで使われる木槌は、普通の木ではなく必ず雷の落ちた木から作られ、天からのエネルギーが施術効果を高めると考えられています。通常のマッサージでは、手や指の力が不十分でこりを取るのに時間がかかることがありますが、トークセンは張っている筋や腱を叩き、筋肉の緊張を早めにほぐし、腱をも緩ませるため、筋肉や腱だけでなく関節などの痛みにも効果がある施術法です。また、トークセンはその独特な響きで精神をリラックスさせる効果が優れているのも特徴です。
